New Email Edit’s
This last year seems to have been a difficult one for emails to make it through to me the first time for whatever reason. Because of this I have set up a new email boxes as of today. Please update your contacts to reflect any and all edits to be sent to from now on as follows:
Breeder Clients -> EDITS@BreederWebDesign.com
Please note that Info@BreederWebDesign.com, Online@PetBusinessWebDesign.com and Info@MyWebProduction.com are still valid for other forms of contact but NOT for edits.
Important Updates
Please remember to bookmark our blog at www.BigPawConcepts.com to stay informed of any upcoming happenings here. I will list any computer trouble, specials, reminders and any time I am planning to take a vacation. Many of you know Vacations are not something I have been known to take but this is the place where I will update that info for a way for everyone to stay current with what is going on on this end.
Proper Format When Sending Your Edits
I have had a few that seemed to have difficulty in following the process for sending edits. I cannot stress enough how much time is wasted when edits are not sent in correctly. I have tried to explain for the most efficient way for you to send up dates but I will re cap here right now.
1. TEXT – When sending edits please be sure to send the text content part inside the actual email not as an attachment. Be sure to label the subject line of your email according to the page the edits are to be made on. If you are sending multiple pages of edits in one email you can do so as long as it is clear, to the point and detailed. Be sure to format the email as this one is making each new page is noted in BOLD text and UNDERLINED.
2. PHOTOS – When sending photos or other files such as pedigrees or pdf’s to be linked to your page send those as attachments. ALSO please please please [this is one of the biggest issues we have right now] be sure to rename your files prior to sending them. You will want to rename them according to who or what is in the photo. When you do not rename your files it makes it very difficult to know who is in the photo and to organize them on your website. Renaming files is extremely easy. You just right click the file select rename and TADA, you rename the file.
3. Please do not send your edits in a word document attached file. First I cannot retrieve any of the images in a timely manner w/out losing their quality and color composition. Secondly they do not come over as you might see them on your end leaving things pretty jumbled up.
Well that about wraps up the update this go round. You will be receiving the annual renewals shortly. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
